Miners Ravine is a creek that runs from a rural area through an increasingly suburban landscape. Life in and around the creek can tell us much about our changing landscape and ourselves. Whether running low or at flood the creek is ever in motion.
Miners Ravine is in the Dry Creek watershed in Placer County California. The main channel is 15.2 miles long and it drains 20.1 square miles from Newcastle, CA until it merges with Dry Creek in Roseville, CA.
This web site is dedicated to all things Miners Ravine. Current pictures, maps, history and details about the plants, animals and people who live next to it.
